Trip to Jonker Walk, Melaka

Fakta Trip:-

Date : 30 Oct 2010
Check in : Hotel Time, Melaka

Salam,

One fine day...at Jonker Walk (30/10/10) in architecture and building facade perspective. Aku masa zaman study kat 'U' dulu memang gemar sungguh subject 'urban design'. Even masa subject tu dulu, aku pernah buat morfologi Bandar Muar and Melaka.

Now, back to Melaka again (tak suka sebut Malacca). Jonker Walk terletaknya deretan bangunan-bangunan kedai era penjajah sehingga era selepas perang. Di sini menempatkan kawasan pedagang-pedagang pada waktu itu ber 'trading' tak kira lah dari rempah ratus ke kayu kayan. Aku suka tengok scenery sebegini, sama macam kat Ipoh or Penang. So layanzz...pics yang sempat aku shot (bateri kong pulak di hujung jalan).

Photo 1: Jonker Walk entry statement.
Photo 2: Walkway between buildings, going to nowhere? but nice ambiance.

Photo 3: Sungai Melaka sekarang.

Photo 4: Jonker Gallery, sayang sekali kedai dalam ni not an antique store but a ladies butique. Design interior kat dalam tu very nice with nice detaling cuma aku tak dapek nak shot (no camera please!).

Photo 5: One of a row of shops that still maintain the facade of the building (I was amazed). Looks like Kapitan plus Italian style of architecture.

Photo 6: Buddha old temple

Photo 7: Old windows of an old shop (import and export office hehe..) Tingkap ni kalau ada jual kat kedai kayu terpakai, harus aku rembat..hehe.

Photo 8: One of the shop has been fully refurbished to a new look. Kedai ni ler yang depa pakai dalam filem 'Stem'.

Photo 9: Old antique tiles, harga sekeping tak silap aku tak sampai RM30. Ada jual kat kebanyakan kedai kat sini.
